Janhvi Kapoor remembers mother Sridevi on her death anniversary; pens a heartfelt note

Today marks the 4th death anniversary of late actress Sridevi. Remembering her mother on this day, Jahnvi Kapoor took to her social media account and penned a heartwarming note for her with an adorable vintage picture.

It appeared to be quite an old picture from when Janhvi was a kid and Sridevi looked very young and stunning. Jahnvi's caption read, "I’ve still lived more years with you in my life than without. But I hate that another year has been added to a life without you. I hope we make you proud mumma, because that’s the only thing that keeps us going. Love you forever".

Many fans and followers took to the comments section and expressed their love for this mother-daughter duo. Many celebrities like Sanjay Kapoor, Shashank Khaitan, Shanaya Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, and others also commented on Janhvi's post. Earlier today, Khushi Kapoor also shared a story on her Instagram account which portrayed her and late actress Sridevi from an old still. 

When the news of her death broke on February 24, 2018, it was painful and shocking for her fans. In 2018, Sridevi passed away in Dubai. While it was initially assumed that she died of cardiac arrest as her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor told the media that she died of a heart attack, Sridevi's death certificate stated that the cause of death was accidental drowning. Later, the actress' body was taken back to Mumbai and cremated.

On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in Good Luck Jerry and Dostana 2 and Mr and Mrs Mahi wherein she will star alongside Rajkummar Rao.
