James Corden's Homefest Special To Host BTS, Billie Eilish and more

BTS is slated to return to small screens across the country, and they will be joined by some of the biggest musical superstars in the world.

The boyband has been announced as one of the featured guests on James Corden’s upcoming primetime special Homefest: James Corden’s Late Late Show Special. The program, which will air this coming Monday, March 30 at 10:00 PM EST on CBS, will feature the comedian speaking with a slew of musicians and other celebrities, such as David Blaine and Will Ferrell.

The special is set to be very heavy on music, not just because artists are typically interesting to talk to, but because they can also perform some of their biggest hits. So far, in addition to BTS, Corden and his team have revealed that Homefest: James Corden’s Late Late Show Special will also feature Billie Eilish and her brother/producer Finneas, John Legend, Dua Lipa and even Andrea Bocelli, and it seems like they will all sing for those tuning in.

The musicians who have signed up will be speaking with Corden and performing from their homes, and the host will have to patch them in from far-flung locales like Los Angeles, London, Italy and even South Korea, where BTS is currently holed up, waiting out the coronavirus pandemic.

BTS was last seen on Corden's show recently after the release of their latest album Map Of The Soul:7. The boyband starred in the famous Carpool Karaoke segment of James' show where they sang along to some of their best-known tunes as well as a host of tracks promoted by other artists.

Corden is the latest late-night star to announce plans to return to the airwaves in one form or another. Most of his colleagues in later time slots have revealed that they are planning at-home or remote comebacks, and some have already launched their revivals. While these programs have all been warmly received, Corden may snag the ratings by booking BTS once again, along with Bille, John Legend, Dua Lips and other top artists.
