Jacqueline Fernandez questioned as witness by ED in a money laundering case: Reports

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate on Monday in Delhi, where she is currently camped. The Kick actress was questioned as a witness for an alleged multi-crore extortion racket reportedly led by Sukesh Chandrashekar, an accused in a bribery matter involving the Election commission.

The officials reportedly recorded Jacqueline’s statement in Delhi for almost five hours on Monday. “Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in Delhi for the last five hours, in a money laundering case,” reported ANI. 

According to a source close to the investigation, Jacqueline is a witness in the case and the ED has recorded her statement in today's investigation, too.

The buzz is Jacqueline might even be a victim in this money laundering case that could run into multiple crores of rupees.

Meanwhile, on the career front, Jacqueline Fernandez is gearing up for the release of her upcoming horror-comedy film, Bhoot Police, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Yami Gautam. The film will be released on the OTT platform next month. The film is helmed by Pavan Kirpalani.

She was recently seen in the music video of 'Paani Paani' alongside rapper Badshah. Jacqueline also has 'Ram Setu', 'Attack' and 'Bachchan Pandey' with Akshay Kumar in the pipeline. She is also a part of Salman Khan's awaited 'Kick 2'.
