Gone are the days when a monochromatic look was either, black, any other dark shade like Burgundy, navy blue or grey, or just a head-to-toe splash of white-reserved only for the one's more careful and poised. While those are the tried-and-tested monochromatic dressing hues, the spectrum has widened now, since it has a brand new entrant to the club, the subtle 'Khaki' colour.

Earlier, khaki which was restrained only to classic trenches and coats, is now a shade to build the entire outfit-of-the-day around. Proof are the many tinsel town citizens donning a Khaki overall. Tracing back this trend, just yesterday along with three tinsel town ladies- Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez and Priyanka's husband Nick also donned a full-on soil coloured outfit.

So, yesterday while promoting the Shah Rukh Khan starrer upcoming film Zero, Anushka gave her khaki ensemble an athleisure spin with those metallic shoes, and hair centre parted sleek. She posed with a game-face on.

And, the film's leading lady Katrina Kaif kept her khaki outfit lady-like with a pair of black pointy pumps and her long curled tresses casually side parted.

Post Priyanka Chopra's wedding extravaganza, her husband, Nick Jonas, was spotted at the airport with her, looking dapper in khaki jacket and joggers. And late last night, Jacqueline Fernandes was spotted leaving a suburban eatery looking divalicious in a waist coat-out khaki jumpsuit.
