I have practically grown-up seeing him, as I was a cricketer myself and still love this game he has been a great inspiration to millions and to me. I was very fortunate to be at Wankhade stadium the day he got retired and pulled up my socks and pulled the strings to be there as it was one of the most important moments of my life.

It was very emotional as well as big day for all of us and cricket is not the same without him at all. So today I wish him a super-duper 42nd birthday. Today millions of people watch cricket because of him; he is the face of cricket. As there can't be another Brian Lara or Gavaskar, similarly there can't be another Sachin for sure, but I am certain there will be really nice, great talents in upcoming years, but there will always be one Sachin.

He started it at a very early stage he was lucky to play for 25 years many players don't get an opportunity to play for that long, he has been lucky that way and his talent is immense. Anybody can do it, in fact can do better than him. What he has done is great and we all should cherish it. I also wish that somebody do break his records and make India proud once again like he did.

I used to watch cricket because of him, I have not been following it much now. I think he has already earned that name for the country, for his family and for himself. I would love to wish a very happy birthday and bless him whatever he is doing now. I don't think any player can be compared to Mr. Tendulkar because the kind of benchmark he has set, it's not easy for any cricketer to achieve that easily. He has a different style and aura all together. I miss him.

I am really big cricket fan and Sachin is my favorite. During my childhood days I used to celebrate his birthday like it was my own. I used to distribute chocolates in school. I do miss him on field but at the same time I like it when he does commentary or come to stadium to cheer his time. Even though he has taken retirement he will never retire for us, my wishes are with him, a very happy birthday to master blaster. But I surely feel Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina are doing great and will reach to his level for sure.
