Lohri marks the commencement of the harvest season. The festival is also celebrated to pay respects for making harvest possible. The Lohri night is considered the longest night of the year, thus it is also known as the winter solstice. Any celebration is always incomplete without family, and given the pandemic we are all in, things have changed and come a long way. However, one thing that hasn't changed is the good wishes that come along every festival.
Shaalien Malhotra aka Special Agent Karan Shergill from Ziddi Dil - Maane Na spoke about the festival and says, “I will mostly be home for Lohri this time. It’s my first Lohri without my mother, and it's indeed going to be very difficult. For me, Lohri has always been about spending time with my family, celebrating the festival with near and dear ones and participating in Lohri rituals and pooja. My favourite Lohri delicacy has to be Gajak, Moongphaali ki Patti and Rewari. I wish my well-wishers a very happy and joyous Lohri. Stay safe, stay blessed, and I hope everyone has a great year ahead!”
Meanwhile, a lot has been happening on the show and in the lives of Sanjana, Sid, Monami, Karan, and everyone else. The show features Shaalien Malhotra as (Special Agent Karan Shergil), Kaveri Priyam as (Dr Monami), Kunal Karan Kapoor as (Sid Ganju), Diljot Chhabra as (Special Agent Sanjana), Aditya Deshmukh as (Special Agent Faizi) and Simple Kaul (Nurse Koel) in lead roles along with Vijay Kashyap, Gulfam Hussian amongst others in key roles.
