It was a big decision for me to come back on-screen after a break of three decades - Sonam

Oye Oye girl Sonam, recently announced her comeback in the Indian cinema recently. The actress is all over the news since the announcement. Producers of the B-Town, have approached her with various scripts. The actress is truly overwhelmed with the response and has shared more on the same. 

Sonam says, “It was a big decision for me to come back on-screen after a break of three decades. I was a bit overwhelmed and nervous as things have changed drastically. However, when I announced the comeback, my co-actors and the industry welcomed me with open arms. I’ve been offered a couple of scripts. I am currently going through and seeing which one I connect to the most. You’ll can expect something big soon.”

After the grand success of Tridev, Sonam had a long list of offers awaiting her nod eagerly but destiny had other things planned & the actor had to pause cinema due to personal reasons. 

For the unversed, Sonam was introduced to the industry by Yash Chopra & adjourned her career in 1988 with the multi-starrer action film ‘Vijay’’. The actress rose to fame with the film ‘Tridev’ and in the same film, the song ‘Oye Oye… ’ became very famous among the people. Looks like, she will be back to doing what she’s best at soon… entertainment!
