Is Kajol waiting for Shah Rukh to propose her?

Over the years, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are known to share most adorable comradery. Be it on-screen or behind the camera, they have regularly set friendship goals for their fans. And after all, if there’s one thing that Bollywood has taught us it would be - ‘Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte!’ (a boy and girl can never be ‘just friends’).  

The fans have been gushing over SRK and Kajol’s friendship since a long time now and they are often asked why the Zero actor did not marry Kajol. But, this time Kajol had a rather funny reply to the ever-present question.

The 45-year-old  who is quite active on social media conducted a Q&A session on her Instagram account on Tuesday. The actress assured her fans that she will answer every question asked by them and we must say, she sort of lived up to her promise. While Kajol thought she could get away with all the questions easily one of the users asked Kajol an extremely hypothetical question.

The actress was asked if she would have married Shah Rukh Khan, her good friend and co-star in many films, had she not met Ajay Devgn, her husband. Well, that is not a question Kajol extended to answer. But, she being a savage as usual replied: “Isn’t the man supposed to be proposing.”

Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan’s comradery dates back to 1993 when they were first seen in Baazigar. The duo then moved towards Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001), My Name is Khan (2010) and Dilwale (2015).

On the work front, Kajol is currently gearing up for the release of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which will see her sharing screen space with Ajay.
