Is it officially over between Imran Khan and Avantika Malik?

Bollywood actor Imran Khan had made a fantastic debut with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na alongside Genelia Deshmukh in 2008. Ever since his first movie, Imran had constantly delivered flops and he was last seen his 2015 movie Katti Batti, alongside Kangana Ranaut. When he didn’t find much scope in acting, the Ek Main Aur Ek Tu actor took a step towards direction and debuted with Mission Mars: Keep Walking India (2018). The film was based on India's Mangalyaan mission in 2014.

Well, it was just a few months back when, reports from various entertainment websites started pouring in stating that all is not well between Imran and his wife Avantika Malik. The couple had been in a relationship since they were in their late teens. They had gotten married in 2011 and became proud parents to a daughter, which they named Imara in 2014. 

After almost 8 years of marriage, various reports stated that the couple has called off their marriage for some time due to irreconcilable differences. Currently, Avantika along with their daughter Imara have been staying at the formers mother’s house in Bandra. A DNA insider had informed, “Avantika allegedly left 24, Pali Hill, Imran’s residence, a while ago with Imara. It is being said that she is currently staying with her family.”

Now, as per fresh reports from Mid-Day, even Imran has moved out of the Pali Hill bungalow. He used to reside in the bungalow with his mother Nuzhat, wife Avantika Malik and daughter Imara. The over 50-year-old property belonged to his late filmmaker grandfather Nasir Hussain, and was redone by the couple in 2012. 

Recently amidst the divorce rumours, Avantika had shared a cryptic post on her official social media handle. She wrote, “You may need to walk away, trusting there is so much more ahead of you (sic).”

When Imran Khan's mother-in-law, Vandana Malik was contacted she had refuted these rumours. She had said, "We all read the news and let me tell you that there's no such thing. There are some differences (between the husband and wife), which will be sorted anyway."
