Deepika Padukone has been Sanjay Leela Bhansali's favorite for a long long time now. She has been his muse in Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat and we knew that he would love to cast her in his next too. But the news came in that SLB is inclined towards casting Alia Bhatt in his next Inshallah and he did so.

Now the grapevines are abuzz that Deepika is upset with Bhansali for not choosing her. Since the movie Inshallah also has Salman Khan in it, the fans too got heartbroken as they wanted to see Deepika with Salman. As per the reports of a leading entertainment portal, it is suggested that SLB comes from old school of thought. And Deepika was warned beforehand that SLB is very skeptical in casting married actresses in his movies.

The very same thing happened with Kareena Kapoor Khan when she lost her role in Ram Leela because she was married to Saif Ali Khan. The tabloid quoted Deepika saying that she is "disappointed but not heartbroken". Well, if this is true then her broken heart is justified, don't you think?
