Ira Khan Mourns Death of Aamir Khan’s Assistant Amos, says ‘Legends Never Die

Aamir Khan’s personal assistant of 25 years, Amos Paul Nadar passed away on May 13, Wednesday after suffering a heart attack. Amos was very dear to the Khan family and the actor along with his wife Kiran Rao are shattered with his untimely demise.

Amos collapsed on Wednesday morning and was taken to the Holy Family hospital by Aamir, his wife Kiran, and their team.

Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan has also mourned the death of Amos and she took to her social media to pen a heartfelt note in his memory. She wrote, “R.I.P Amos. Thanks for teaching me how to make home-made coffee look cool, playing saat-aath with us and showing me what efficient packing really looks like. Didn’t think you’d ever not be around."

Kiran and Aamir had also arrived to attend the last rites of Amos, held in Mumbai at the Christian cemetery in Sewri. The couple looked devastated with the loss and were spotted paying their last respects to their beloved assistant.

“Amos worked with a superstar but was endearing and simple. He was like this to not just Aamir but everyone. He put everyone at ease and was a wonderful person. He had a wonderful heart, was so bright and a hard worker,” Aamir’s friend Karim Hajee told PTI. 

“He had no major illness, his death is shocking. He died with his boots on. Both Aamir and Kiran are devasted. Aamir had sent us a message and said it is an irreplaceable loss. We were so numb, we will miss him,” he added.

Amos is survived by his wife and two children.
