Today on the occasion of International Family Day let us have a look at beautiful families of the Indian Television Shows.
1)Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
Like a real family, the Gokuldham parivaar have always stood for each other through thick and thin. The families of Gokuldham society i.e. Gada, Bhide, Mehta, Iyer, Sodhi, Hathi as well as Popatlal and Abdul have always faced each and every problem together. Apart from showcasing rib-tickling comical episodes and delivering social messages, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has portrayed pure love and familial bond between members of Gokuldham society. The family drama has garnered massive fan following and all the characters are immensely popular among the audience.
2)Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
This popular Star Plus show has depicted the strength of a family since day one. The show has not always been about the lead pair but about the entire family. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata from the very beginning has portrayed that in India it is not two individuals but two families who get married to each other. Akshara and Naitik’s families shared a deep bond with each other and after so many years the love and bond has remained the same. Moreover, Naira and Kartik’s families have maintained a familial bond as well. Nothing above family is what Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai believes in.
3)Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
Another Star Plus family drama, Yeh Hai Mohabbatien was never just about lead pair Raman and Ishita. Being from two different castes Raman and Ishita’s families were not too happy to be neighbours at the initial stage of the show but with time their bond has only strengthened. The Bhalla Parivaar and the Iyer Parivaar faced many problems together and being from two different cultures their love for each other gives family goals. Isn’t it?
The Parekh parivaar has been one of the quirkiest and peculiar families of the Indian Television. Praful, Hansa, Jayshree, Babuji and Himanshu have always left us laughing with their comic timing. Khichdi has been popular for being hilarious and the show still has a huge fan following. The Parekh family has been known for being funny and apart from making us laugh out loud, Khichdi has taught us pure family values as well.
5)Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai
The South Bombay based Sarabhai family has made us laugh with their, “Monisha, so middle class” comments. The adorable family consisting of Indravadan, Maya, Sahil, Monisha and Rosesh have been immensely popular and Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai is one of the most light-hearted family comedy shows. The Sarabhai family is a classic example of an imperfect but lovely family.
The rich and affluent Oberoi brothers, Rudra Omkar and Shivaay have set brotherhood goals. The trio may not present an idea of a perfect family with father, mother, grandparents and children but the brothers have time and again proved that if they have each other they need no one else. The Oberoi Brothers have clearly portrayed that a family needs to be filled with love and you should be there for each other when needed.
