As the show that gives wings to the modelling aspirations of millions of girls around the country gets started, it brings with it joys and heartbreaks too. After a grueling bikini round, the contestants were judged on the basis of the photo session done by ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani in the 1st episode. After a neck to neck comparison, judges- Lisa and Dabboo along with mentors- Anusha and Gaba reached the conclusion of who the top 10 would be. A sensible mix of beauty, boldness, personality, cuteness and elegance; the semifinalists of the 2nd season of India's Next Top Model have it all!

A source close to the set said, "It was a very tough decision for the judges and mentors as the competition was close. The girls who made it to the top 10 were exhilarated and gleamed with joy while the 3 girls who got eliminated could not hold back their tears but tried their best to keep up the positive spirit. The competition was over for them before it even started."
