Indian Idol 10 fame Ankush Bhardwaj undergoes eye surgery

Ankush Bhardwaj who came as a contestant in Sony TV's Indian Idol 10 stunned the nation with his voice. His singing chops made heads turn. However, he was suffering from an ailment that threatens his eyesight since he was six years old. They consulted a few doctors in Shimla but they failed to guide him. He once got tired of wearing glasses and underwent surgery in Chandigarh but it was of no use. Even his mother wished that she dies early then her pledged eyes would be given to him, but obviously Ankush doesn't want this. He was always confident that medical science will soon come up with a cure for his ailment. And it seems that his wish has come true.

A few days ago, he took to Instagram to announce that he will be away from social media for some days as he will be going for his eye surgery. Now, his pictures from the hospital have gone viral.
