In the Anu Malik Row in Indian Idol, Abhay Deol Lends Support To Sona Mahapatra

The inclusion of Anu Malik in Indian Idol 11 has managed to cause a major row amongst several people, mostly celebrities. For the uninitiated, Malik was a part of the many celebrities that were accused of sexual harassment, where a couple of them have even come forward that include singer, Shweta Pandit.

However, what was caused a bigger issue is how in spite of all these claims, Malik was roped in to be the judge of Indian Idol 11 and this has certainly not gone down well with many out there. Singer Sona Mahapatra has been the frontrunner in this where she has been constantly expressing her disgust and disapproval on this saga and many have come forward to support her even.

The latest to join this bandwagon is none other than actor Abhay Deol. In a post on social media, Deol went on to not only express her support for Mahapatra but he exhorted Sony TV, the channel that airs Indian Idol, host Aditya Narayan, and the other judges on the show, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani, to show some spine and get Anu Malik off the show.
