In pics: Ranbir Kapoor & Vaani Kapoor raise the fashion quotient with their sizzling chemistry

Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor are currently revving up for the release of their upcoming period drama Shamshera. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt in the lead role alongside Ronit Roy, Saurabh Shukla, and Ashutosh Rana.

While, the trailer had already sparked a buzz amongst the fans, Ranbir and Vaani are making sure to amp up the hype and make fans wait to witness their on-screen chemistry with bated breath.

The duo have been engaged in a promotional photoshoot for their film and their sizzling chemistry in the pictures is setting social media ablaze. On Saturday, Yash Raj Films dropped a brand new set of photos featuring Ranbir & Vaani and it has sent the internet into a frenzy. Sharing the photo,  Vaani captioned them: "फ़ितूर. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 22nd July." 

The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor can be seen in the photographs sporting a printed shirt over a black round-neck t-shirt, along with a pair of white pants. Vaani, on the other hand, donned  shimmery  pink cut-out dress. The duo posed while standing close to each other and dishing out perfect co-star goals.

Many of Vaani and Ranbir's fans swarmed the comments section with fire and heart emoticons after she posted the pictures. While some people applauded their chemistry, other pulled Ranbir's legs  by bringing up his actress wife, Alia Bhatt and how would she react on seeing these pictures.

Ranbir will play the dual roles of Shamshera and Balli in Shamshera, and Vaani will portray the dancer Sona. The film is being helmed by Karan Malhotra and will be hitting the big screens on 22md July.
