An array of new shows is lined up for the viewers. One of quite unique shows in the pipeline is Colors’ show ‘Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Pani’. The show is produced by Optimistix Productions and the story of the same revolves around a simple girl from Kolkatta taking up the responsibility of her entire family after a tragedy hits her family. Ishita Dutta, Harshad Arora and Mishkat Verma form the primary cast of the show.

India Forums got in touch with actor Mishkat Verma who’s back on television after a break. We asked the handsome lad about what kept him away from the TV screens. He quipped, “Well, pandemic is one of reasons. Other than that, there are several reasons like the roles offered, right channel, right production house etc”.

We asked him if he is excited or nervous for the show, he stated, “I’m both excited and nervous for this one as it’s quite a different role and different show all together. I know people often say it for the sake of it but the show is honestly quite different. I’m sure the viewers will like the show and the character that I’m playing.

Highlighting his character from the show, Mishkat added, “I’m playing the role of Rahul. He is very hardworking and self-made. He has done MBA but has ended up taking the job as a cab driver because he has his family’s responsibilities on his shoulders. Rahul and Kajol (Ishita’s character) are quite alike as both have achieved everything on their merit and have a family to look after”.

We asked Mishkat about his struggles and failures, he added, “I have faced a lot of failures and I believe more than success, it’s the failure that teaches you and motivates you to work harder and better. If you taste success than you don’t really push yourself and feel satisfied, however, failures always keep you on your toes. I’ve had my share of highs and lows in my career. I miss my highs. During an actors’ low phase, the most important thing to have, is support from family. I’ve a very supportive parents and sister. They’ve never burdened me. They’re aware of the industry that I’m working in and have never pressurized me. I am really blessed to have such a strong support system in my life”.
