Imran Khan turned down Avantika Malik’s patch up proposal amidst Divorce rumors

Ever since actor Imran Khan’s estranged wife Avantika shared a cryptic post on her social media, a lot has been said and read about the duo. The latter’s post read “You may need to walk away, trusting there is so much more ahead of you (sic)”, and triggered the rumors of the couple’s divorce. However, she later deleted the post creating more turmoil around the issue. But, here’s the real reason which led to the ambiguous ‘walk away’ post.

Reportedly Avantika was pretty adamant about her decision of divorcing Imran. She then headed to London for a bartending course and it looks like this trip helped her iron out her marital dispute. Once she landed back to Mumbai, she changed her mind and wanted to give her a relationship with Imran a second chance, reported Spotboye. 

She conveyed her reconciliation proposal to her mother Vandana Malik, who maintains a good rapport with her son in law, who further went on to talk to Imran about the same. However, the Delhi Belly actor was not of the same mind and tried to evade the idea of getting back together. 

He said, “What if the toxicity remains in the relationship, where would that leave them?” turning down the discussion. And next, Vandana Malik carried Imran’s response to her daughter Avantika, which led to her viral Instagram post. 

Imran and Avantika got married in 2011 and became proud parents to their daughter Imara in 2014. And, after 8 years of marriage, the couple’s marriage faced problems due to differences between them. 

While there still has been no official announcement from the duo itself, a lot of conjecture has been made around their marriage.
