'Imlie' & 'GHKPM' fame Suraj Sonik bags lead in 'Arjun Pandit'

Star Plus' Imlie has certainly been one of the most fascinating success stories there can be where the show was probably launched with almost no expectations (from the viewers' side) and has now gone on to become a constant rating grabber ever week. Coming only second to Anupamaa lately, the show has indeed done well and needless to say, the actors have become household names too.

Interestingly, just like Imlie, there has been another show that's doing amazingly well and that is Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Wondering why are we taking about these two shows right now, well that's because a common link in the form of actor Suraj Sonik who has starred in both these shows has now gone on to bag another project, and this time as the lead of a new show.

Reports suggest that Sonik has been roped in to play the male protagonist in upcoming show Arjun Pandit. The show will reportedly air on a new channel titled Azaad TV is soon going to hit our TV screens. Sonik will actually be one of three male protagonists as the show is about the story of the struggles of three brothers, just like it was in Gupta Brothers on Star Bharat but with a different twist.

Both Gupta Brothers and this upcoming show are produced by Mahesh Pandey.
