'Imlie' actor Ritu Chaudhary Seth speaks her heart on the eve of 'Mother's Day'

Mother's Day is here and it's that time of the year when we take time out of our busy lives for the most special person of our lives and the reason for our existence. But some believe in celebrating motherhood every day and not limiting it just for Mother's Day and Ritu Chaudhry Seth is one of them. 

Here's what the actress said when asked about how is she going to make this day special for her mother. Talking about the same, Ritu said "I don't feel the need to do anything special for my mother, only on Mother's Day because she is so special that every single day I can give her a little bit of time and talk to her. She is at that age where children are busy and she is at home and keeps waiting for our call and to come and meet her. So, I just want to make her feel special every single day by giving her time and making that space for her in my life. For my mother, just me talking to her every day is special"

If it was not for my mother, I don't think I would have grown half the percent that I'm today.

Furthermore, Ritu shared how important her mother is to her. The actress said "If it was not for my mother, I don't think I would have grown half the percent that I'm today. The way she has influenced me in so many ways and taught me so many things about life. I feel that child's only true connection in this world is through their mother. My mother has established a strong bond between me and my sisters. She has been such a huge and positive influencer in our lives."

Lastly, the actress concluded by sharing a fun memory from childhood. Ritu shared "My mother is very fond of old music and stitching clothes. So, my favorite memory with my mother is, in the afternoons she would be stitching clothes, and beautiful music for that era used to be on the radio. I remember there used to be a window next to her machine. Her hair used to fly due to wind and she used to enjoy the music during stitching and keep talking to us and we would be sitting down aside her feet doing our studies. That afternoons were very special"
