Iira Soni provides the spark in Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat...

Star Plus’ Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat completes its one-year run today on January 21st, and has managed to be consistent in the TRP charts.

And as reported by Telly Buzz earlier, the show will now bring in a big twist in the form of Iira Soni’s entry.

According to our source, “Her entry will bring about a personality change in the members of the Raja family. Nandini aka Iira is a Princess and is a strong character with many shades. Her entry will be on January 22nd in a special Rajasthani dance sequence, and the scene after this will reveal a lot about her character”.

We called the Producer Rashmi Sharma to get more details about the new character. “Nandini is Raja Saab’s sister’s daughter. So she is eventually the daughter of the house. I cannot categorize her character as positive or negative at the moment, but can tell you that she plays a role that has never been seen on television so far. She makes her entry thro’ a dance sequence and as the story goes, an unexpected truth will get revealed. But I cannot divulge it right now”.

Her look in the show is something to look forward to. “Nandini has been given a very simple, delicate yet different look. You have to watch to know it”, adds Rashmi.

On choosing Iira Soni for this strong role, Rashmi quotes, “There were many actors who auditioned for this role. But when Iira gave her audition, we saw that added spark in her that was required for this particular role”.

Lastly, when asked Rashmi about the show completing one year today, the jubilant Producer says, “We are very happy with the run that the show has had, especially because this is my first show. Raja Ki Aayegi Baaraat completes 200 episodes on 26th January, and this is one more milestone that is fast approaching. We look forward to having a good run ahead”.

Well, it looks as though the suspense is building up in the show with Iira’s entry!!
