In a move that’s likely the first of its kind, famous musical artists are coming together remotely for a benefit concert. With the cancellation of iHeartRadio Music Awards, Fox has teamed with iHeartMedia to present a "Living Room Concert for America," a music event that pays tribute to medical professionals fighting to stop the rapid spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the respiratory illness that has swept the world, upended the entertainment industry and put a stop to all non-essential business.

Hosted by Elton John, the one-hour benefit special features performances by Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Mariah Carey, Sam Smith, Dave Grohl, Camila Cabello, Tim McGraw, H.E.R., Green Day's Joe Armstrong and more.

Now’s your chance to sneak a peek at Eilish’s living room decor (Is it neon? Are there spiders?), because all artists will be performing straight from their homes, and all performances in the no-frills concert will be created solely by the artists. Artists will practice social distancing by “[filming] with their personal cell phones, cameras and audio equipment, to ensure the health and safety of all involved.”

Throughout the broadcast, there will be additional appearances from Lizzo, Demi Lovato and Ciara; as well as inspirational messages from guests and information on charities to support in this time of need.

The 'Living Room Concert For America' viewers are encouraged to donate to Feeding America, a non-profit organization that runs a network of more than 200 food banks, and First Responders Children’s Foundation, which supports the families of first responders, two charitable organizations that help support coronavirus victims and pandemic first responders.

Since the coronavirus was declared by the World Health Organization to be a global pandemic, it has caused almost all major events in the music, film and television industries to be cancelled or postponed, jeopardizing the entire entertainment industry and rendering most Americans housebound amid "Safer at Home" orders from government officials.

The concert will also be available on all Fox digital platforms and on TV streaming services like Hulu Live TV or YouTube TV. It will also air on iHeartMedia radio stations and the iHeartRadio app. People have also been posting covers of them singing on twitter and it is trending worldwide.

For the benefit, the concert will also be advertisement free.
