While actor Gurpreet Singh has not taken up projects that are exclusively for the digital platform, he says that his show Porus will be shown on the internet as well. The actor, who plays the role of Ambiraj in the Siddharth Kumar Tewary magnum opus, says that he would like to do exclusive work for the internet as well. "I would love to work on the digital platform as well. The TV show that I am doing right now, 'Porus' is supposed to come on different channels and digital platforms internationally as well, so technically I can say that I am working on digital platform too," he says.

The actor says that irrespective of the medium, stories are what reach the audience. "It all depends on the desperation of audience to optically canvas it. I believe when a show is authentically good and promoted well, the audience watches it, irrespective of the medium. I believe this is the reason content on the internet has progressed. This incipient medium has additionally opened incipient doors for people who do not get chance otherwise because of inhibition of telecast time on sundry channels. Now they can show their craft on the internet," he says.

However, Gurpreet says that the internet can never leave TV behind. "It's possible that content of internet will grow but I think there will always be the audience for TV. The maximum audience for TV are in rural areas and they are still not very comfortable with the internet," he says.

Ask him what he liked to follow on the internet, and he says, "I don't get much time to watch TV. First of all, I rarely see my own show on Sony Liv because of the lack of time. I watch the news on TV when I get the chance. I love watching G.O.T. and few more web series, whenever I get the time."

The actor is willing to do a bold role on the internet as well, as long as it is not vulgar. "Being a male actor, I have the liberty to be bold as much I can be. But I have to see to if it is justified and is not vulgar or cheap. If you remember I did VIP Frenchie X print ad and it's still on the VIP Frenchie X," he says, adding, "I don't mind going full monty also if the character demands and it isn't vulgar."
