I will stay silent: Alia on Kangana, Rangoli's attack on her family

Here's what the Kalank star has to say...

Kangana Ranaut has often voiced her opinions about the Bollywood A-listers ganging up against her and her sister Rangoli Chandel comes out in her support always. The recent target on their list has been Alia Bhatt, who has been attacked by Kangana for several reasons, be it for not voicing her political opinion or calling her performance in Gully Boy 'mediocre'. Not just that, she and her sister attacked Alia's parents, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, as well.  While Rangoli claimed that Mahesh threw a chappal at Kangana during Woh Lamhe preview, she called Alia and her mother, who are British citizens, as 'non Indians living off this land.'

On Sunday, Alia attended the Critics Choice Film Awards 2019 and was asked to comment on how the sisters have been slamming her and dragging her parents in the mud with her, she told the reporters, "Dekhiye, agar main aisi hu then my family is 10 times more mature and stronger than I am. Mujhe isme padna hi nahi hai, you know. I just want to be happy, positive, work hard, be a better version of myself every day. Log kya kahe, kya na kahe I should not pay attention to it. Everybody has a right to say what they want to say. Main bas chup rahungi, that's my stand."

Well, we certainly appreciate how Alia replied with such grace.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress was last seen in Kalank and has Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor, RRR, and Inshallah with Salman Khan in the pipeline.
