I was overwhelmed to receive so much love and wished on my Birthday: Simran Budharup of Pandya Store

Star Plus show ‘Pandya Store’ actress Simran Budharup who plays the character of Dev’s wife Rishita in the show can’t keep calm as she just celebrated one of the rocking birthdays of her life. The actress’ celebrated her birthday on 2nd August. She threw an interesting party wherein her friends from the industry made sure to make the celebration more special.

Simran’s party became the talk of the town as it had the most fun theme that of dressing up like any popular character. While this trend is at its diminishing stage, Simran’s friends made sure to strictly follow the theme.

India Forums got in touch with the bubbly actress and spoke to her about her birthday party, she said, "I had a theme party for my birthday, where my friends were dressed as some or the other characters. I decided to dress up as Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Shiny Doshi (Dhara) became a Hippie, while Lavesh (Shiny’s husband) had become Amitabh Bachchan from Zanjeer, Kinshuk (Gautam) played the character of Kabir Singh and his wife (Divya Mahajan) became Zeenat Aman, from Dum Maro Dum. Akshay (Dev) became Aladin and Mohit (Krish) was playing Thakur. The party was a complete package of entertainment. We not only danced a lot and also had a lot of fun. I had cut 3 cakes at the party, and one of my most favorite cake out of all was the bike cake. It had a bike on it, which my boyfriend Aashutosh had got for me”.

The birthday girl received a lot of gifts too. Simran added, “Shiny gifted me perfume, while Palak and Jovita both gave me hampers which had gifts along with, cute little handmade things. I love handmade things and I feel handmade things are adorable as a person puts in efforts for you. The rest of my friends gave me gift vouchers and cash. While mom gifted me a designer piece and a perfume. My boyfriend Aashu not only played the guitar for me but also sang a song! I heard him singing for the first time. To be honest I was overwhelmed to receive so much love and wishes on my birthday.
