I want people to understand that it’s not a cake walk for me: Shagun Sharma on bagging ‘Sasural Genda Phool 2’

Shagun Sharma, who is known for her recent stint in Ishk Par Zor Nahi, has been in the news once again as the actress is gearing up for her next show, Sasural Genda Phool 2 co-starring Jay Soni. The show has quite the fan base and with the actress turning lead for the same, there have only been good wishes for her so far. The core cast of the show has been retained which consists of actors like Jay Soni, Anita Kanwal, Sudhir Pandey, Jiten Lalwani, Suraj Thappar, Supriya Pilgaonkar among others.

The show is slated to go on air from 7th December 2021 and as the telecast date nears, Shagun shared her thoughts about bagging the show on social media. She tweeted revealing that she has been a fan of ‘Sasural Genda Phool’ and now being able to play the lead role in the same show is an unreal feeling.

She wrote: I was a HUGE Fan of SGP and now being a part of SGP2 is like a dream. Unreal feeling. If you could star in your favorite show, would you give it up or take it ? I think we all would take that shot n give it our best. That’s all i am doing here, lots of love

Furthermore, she asked for her fan’s support on Instagram. She wrote: I just want people to understand that it’s not a cake walk for me. Nd I do need your love and support. Sasural Genda Phool 2. 7 December, 8pm.
