I used to give 10 auditions every day during my initial days - Dimple Jhangiani

Sundays are special and so we thought of bringing something interesting for you. So this time we have adorable Dimple talking about her experience of auditioning for shows.

Talking about her first audition she says, "My first audition was for an ad with Ayesha Takia for Eva Lotion. I went there without any make-up and everyone around had done lot of make up so they were asking me that how can you come without doing make up which made me tensed. But then when I gave my audition it was great and I got selected."

What kind of preparations did Dimple do for her first auditions she says, "I have studied Mass Media and through that I got a job in a good Ad Agency Ogilvy and Mather for the post of Client Servicing. My friends recommended me to try in modeling and then randomly I made a portfolio of mine and then someone suggested me the name of a coordinator who looks behind hiring models for ads. And then through him I got my first Audition."

How many auditions has she given? "I remember I used to travel from Chembur to Malad for giving auditions I used to give 10 auditions every day during my initial days. For around 50 days I was giving auditions daily and now I can say that 'I have done almost 40 Advertisements'," says Dimple.

Comparing about auditions before and now she says, "Before it was like an exam and now it is much more relaxing, fun and chilling but still I get to learn many new things every time I go for auditions.
