'I think Donald Trump's account would be interesting to hack,' says Cyrus Sahukar

In the world of social media fixation, getting our accounts hacked is the worst nightmare ever. And Cyrus Sahukar and Hoezaay Covaco will do exactly the same. MTV, is all set to bring The Anti-Social Network, the first of its kind quirky game show that challenges your social media presence and turns it around in a blink starting 1st February, every Friday at 7.00 PM. We got hold of Cyrus and got all the details of the show and some more...

The name of the show is Anti Social Network. It is basically about those people who have a good following on social media say about 67k to 150k and above. So they are not common people, they have some specific way of presenting themselves on Instagram. For example, some people are into luxury lives, some are into photography. And we study their social media handles and slip into their lives. 

So in the next few days, they post whatever we ask them to post. And they make videos of the things that are nothing like them. They post things that are radical and outgoing and they do it live. So it all happens simultaneously and people start reacting to it. Some are happy, some are shocked. Its almost like a social experiment and fun show, which checks the power of the rumor. Its like when you read something and take it as truth based on it but it is not. So it is all about what Anti Social Network is. 

It is interesting because sometimes you realise that something is surely weird when you put something out on Internet. Because when you let somebody do something then what is yours doesn't stay yours and this starts fights. The users who comment on it start fighting with each other and they go on a different conversation on the topic. Thus this conversation part is the most interesting thing to me. The first episode was interesting. We had two guys and we made them do bizarre things. Like there was a guy who is very pro men and we made him do things that is completely against his character. It was interesting to see him struggle at that situation.

I will be petrified because of the world and the day and age that we live in. If you want to trouble anyone and spoil their day then nothing can be better to pick their phone and keep it. Be it an airport or anywhere, you pick their phone up and you can see them feeling uneasy and nervous. And I don't know maybe it is because it has become an extension of them.

Well, I think I have jumped on the social media bandwagon a lot late. My Instagram account is barely a year and a half old. I have stayed away from it for a long time. I was not used to presenting my life to the people out there. Also, I think that my everyday life is extremely boring. As it is not like I am saving the world or doing something incredible, so I used to think that I am bored in my own space why will people be interested. However, slowly I am understanding what social media is all about. Sometimes its a really great medium. But it comes with its perks. It is almost a double edged sword.

It is damn scary man! I think it is because every single person has an opinion. Some are interesting and some are petrifying. The anger and the wrath that some infuse is quite scary. Saying this I feel that it is a small group of contagious people.

Well, the people will hand over their account and password and it is courageous of them to do so. Yes, it will create some troll comments but it won't encourage trolling. I don't think anybody can encourage trolling. The show is not 'trolling network' but Anti Social Network. But there will be people with adverse comments and such behavior and we are completely aware of that.

I have known him for 15 years now and I think he is an incredibly talented human being. I really like what he does with his social media. He makes it a harmless place and gives some really innovative cool stuffs. I really respect him and get along with him as a friend. 

There are many. Sometimes we are hiding in a truck or behind behind the bush to shoot a live video. So so much for the show for some very strange reason. Its a shared level of humiliation with him. Its kind of a dichotomy because we are just two idiots discussing life. So sometimes we become confused as to know what's happening. 

Just watch Anti Social Network to see how a rumour can be so strange. And to understand the absolute power of information and how do they work, though sometimes they are not even true.
