I have given more than 300 auditions - Rahul Sharma

We quizzed actor Rahul Sharma who was last seen in Sony Pal's Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi about his first audition and memories associated with it.

Talking about his first audition he says, "I have given more than 300 auditions and then I bagged my first advertisement. It was an ad for a Tractor, I was very nervous during my audition as I had come from Jaipur to Mumbai so I, was having difficulty in framing dialogues also my English was not that fluent. Before this, I had also shot for Tata Docomo ad but it did not release.”

He further adds, “I remember, I gave 30 auditions in a month and got selected for six ads. Later during my show Kahani Chandrakanta Ki, I met Devanand Sir who blessed and wished good luck for my future which I think helped me to grow in this industry.”

Talking about the change he has seen while giving audition, Rahul says, "Its totally changed now. I have become more confident now and people have started recognizing me so while giving auditions, they give lot of respect which was lacking during my initial days.”
