I feel proud that Ankit Gupta didn’t indulge in mud-slinging or controversies for Bigg Boss 16: Param Singh

While actors’ friendships and preferences change with each show, a few keep their friendship intact even after years. Before being a part of Colors’ show ‘Udaariyaan’ and ‘Bigg Boss 16’, actor Ankit Gupta debuted in the industry with a meaty role in Channel V’s project ‘Sadda Haq’. The show was youth-based. While the show ended long back, the cast made sure to remain in touch and support each other whenever required.

India Forums got in touch with Param Singh and asked him about his thoughts on Ankit being a part of the show. When asked about his first reaction on learning about Ankit participating in the show, Param said, “I was aware that he was in talks with the makers of the show. They were negotiating on a few things. I was with him when he got the confirmation. Ankit is someone who doesn’t show his excitement but he was excited. We discussed a few things of what he can do in the show but Ankit being Ankit, he decided to be on the show the way he is”.

I have watched a few snippets and I feel extremely proud of him as he hasn’t changed himself even a bit for the show. He never tried to create a controversy, never indulged in mud-slinging or over-do things just to be seen more on the show.

He added, "Ankit only opens up to people he feels are genuine and once he is comfortable, he is quite a fun person to be with. I hope he finds good people on the show with whom he can share his friendship and warmth."

When asked if he follows the show, Param answered, “I’ve never been a Bigg Boss fan but this time around since Ankit is there in the show, I tried to catch up a little. My mother watches the show and often asks me to see whenever Ankit comes onscreen. I have watched a few snippets and I feel extremely proud of him as he hasn’t changed himself even a bit for the show. He never tried to create a controversy, never indulged in mud-slinging or over-do things just to be seen more on the show. He is calm and composed guy and he is totally being real on the show.”
