I feel lucky to collaborate with director Atif Khan again: Niyati Fatnani

Actress Niyati Fatnani, who was last seen in the Star Bharat show, Channa Mereya, is all set to be seen in the upcoming series Dear Ishq. The show is all set to air on January 26, 2023 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Talking about her character and series, Niyati says, "I am playing the character of Asmita Roy, who is a Bengali girl. She is an award winning literary editor and a fan of classic writers and storytellers like Premchand, Rabindranath Tagore, etc. She is a modern girl who is very clear and opinionated."

Sharing her experience of working again with the director Atif Khan, Niyati says,"I feel lucky to collaborate with Atif Khan once again. Earlier, I had worked with him in Nazar and it was an overwhelming experience. He is such a dynamic person that he makes actors enjoy the process of acting. I do believe that there should be a comfort level between actor and director because they play a major part in a project. When Atif Khan is directing me, I have faith that everything will go smoothly. I love the vision and the details he brings into every character. Working with him isn't like a director-actor thing, it is like a team work."

Professionally, Niyati has done various shows, like Nazar, Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhage, D4- Get up and Dance. She also made a cameo in the Hotstar series, Aashiqana, produced by Gul Khan. The actress will also be seen playing a vital role in the upcoming show 'Ishq Mein Ghayal.'
