Starring Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles, Ittefaq is inspired by the 1969 film of the same name has been trending with the release of its trailer.

Post releasing the trailer, the makers decided not to promote the film to avoid the spoilers and keep the suspense intact with the audiences. Now that the film is just 4 days away from its release after Sonakshi and Sidharth asked the viewers not to reveal the story post watching the film and being one of the producers of the film, Karan Johar too shared a message via a video on his social media accounts.

He said, "Let me make this very clear, I don't spill the spoilers... I just spill the secrets on my show (Koffee with Karan). Like - Who's dating who? whose doing what?...whose doing who? That's exactly what I talk about but, never any 'Spoilers'. As a person who loves cinema, protecting the spoilers of the film is very essential and that's what I want you to do. Do not reveal any spoilers. It affects the whole growing pleasure and pleasure is what we all do in this business" (Sic).

Directed by Abhay Chopra, produced by Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Renu Ravi Chopra and Hiroo Yash Johar the film is all set to hit the screens on November 3, 2017.
