I do get emotionally vulnerable while performing scenes in ‘Anupamaa’: Muskan Bamne aka Pakhi

Muskan opens up on performing emotional scenes for Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’ and the effect of the same on her.

Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’ is one of the most loved shows on Indian Television. The show enjoys a massive fan-following and the show has been topping the BARC charts since a long time now. The entry of Anuj Kapadia played by actor Gaurav Khanna has made the show quite interesting as finally Anupamaa is getting the appreciation love and respect that she always deserved.

Actress Muskan Bamne who plays the character of Pakhi in the show has been lucky enough to get the opportunity of performing various shades of her character. The young actress aced the tracks of suicide attempt, misunderstanding her mother, not wanting her parents to divorce and much more. Recently, Muskan aced a scene wherein Pakhi gets emotionally harmed because of her mother and father’s fights. She had an emotional breakdown as she went to explain her feelings to Anupamaa and Vanraj.

India Forums got in touch with actress Muskan and asked her about her thoughts on performing emotional scenes. The actress said, “Honestly, there are times when one gets into the flow of the character and feel the empathy of the same. It makes me introspect. I get to understand the plight of kids who go through an emotional turmoil because of their parents’ divorce. Personally, it’s a learning experience which also makes me emotionally vulnerable at times”.

Anupamaa’ is produced by Rajan and Deepa Shahi. It has a stellar star cast including actors like Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Alpana Buch, Gaurav Khanna, Muskan Bamne, Aashish Mehrotra, Paras Kalnawat, Anagha Bhonsle among others.
