She said, “I studied in a Convent school and have grown up singing Xmas carols. My dad had bought a Santa Claus with a sledge from America and I would be so excited to decorate a Xmas tree at home with a crib for baby Christ”.

She added, “Every year on Christmas eve I go the Mount Mary church in Bandra with my friends to feel the spirit of Xmas”.

Sharing her thoughts on various festivals of the nation, Preetika stated, “I believe that Festivals are a Celebration of Life and Culture... and should be celebrated by all humanity without limiting it to a particular religion.... after all that's the fun of life! - Besides festivals are a big source of livelihood and income to everybody equally”.

She further revealed her plans for the day and said, “This Christmas I will be out with my friends and on New Year Eve I plan to be will be with my family and it's also special because my sister Amrita's baby is now one year old and this will be our first New Year's Eve with him”.
