I am trying my best to live up to the viewers' expectations: Manasvi Vashist on replacing Gashmeer in 'Imlie'

India Forums is back with an interesting update from the world of television. Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ has been in the news for quite some time now as the lead actor Gashmeer Mahajani has quit the show.  Producer of the show Gul Khan stirred curiosity among the viewers by hinting at a major twist in the show. 

India Forums exclusively reported that while there’s a buzz that Aditya will die thereby wiping out the character post actor Gashmeer’s exit, there’ll be a high point drama as Aditya wouldn’t die and actor Manasvi will enter the show as the new Aditya. And our news comes out to be true as the new promo featuring Vashist is already out. In the promo, Vashist is seen being attacked by a goon. He fights the goon heroically as his face gets revealed. Aryan and Imlie stand shocked.

India Forums got in touch with Manasvi and asked him about the thoughts that came into his mind while auditioning for the show, the actor quipped, “From auditioning for a role to watching yourself playing it on TV is quite a journey in itself and I've enjoyed every bit of it”.

We asked the handsome hunk if he watched the show before, he stated, “I was not following the show but I did watch all the episodes to prepare to play Aditya”.

On being a replacement in the show, Vasisht added, “Undoubtedly it is a challenge. It's quite a huge responsibility and I am trying my best to live upto the viewers' expectations”.

Talking about the messages from fans, Manasvi said, “Well, they seem extremely happy and excited to see me back on screen and I feel immense joy to be able to entertain them yet again”.
