The spread of coronavirus has affected the entire nation. As the people remain under quarantine, the number of domestic violence cases has substantially raised.
Now, actress Katrina Kaif has joined the team of people who have been battling against social evil like domestic violence.
She took to her social media handle and shared a picture with the words that read, ‘I am Fatima’. She even penned a note in her caption offering support to all the victims. Katrina even acknowledged herself as the ‘voice of the many victims of domestic abuse which are going unheard.’
Katrina also talked about an NGO that has been fighting domestic violence for 20 years.
Her caption read: “I am her voice today and the voices of the many victims of domestic abuse which are going unheard. Rising number of cases have put tremendous pressure on the resources of SNEHA, an NGO that has been fighting domestic violence since 20 years.
“They need to raise funds and raise resources to tackle domestic violence.
