Pretty and talented Adaa Khan, who was last seen on Sony Pal's Pia Basanti Re will now soon be seen making the audience laugh with her sense of humor on Colors' upcoming show Comedy Nights Bachao.
It's for the very first time that Adaa is going to be seen on a comedy show. In a conversation with TellyBuzz, Adaa shares more about her association with the show. Read on to know more...
How has been your experience so far?
It's been an awesome experience so far because it's something that I am doing for the first time. It's completely different and a new experience for me than doing a daily soap. It's super fun and dhamaal with everyone on sets.
Why did you opt for the show?
As an actor, I wanted to try something new. You really want to try something new than doing just positive or negative roles. So when I got an offer from comedy nights, I said a yes to them because an actor should try and know everything and having partners like Krushna (Krushna Abhishek) and Sudesh (Sudesh Lahiri) is like icing on the cake. I haven't tried this ever before so I am just trying to learning and have lots of fun.
How do you prepare yourself for the show?
Whatever I do is with Krushna and Sudesh on set. The script is there but they improvise so I really have to be alert as when they improvise on it and when do I have to talk. So it's just like a team work for us. I have to set myself free. The first thing one has to do here is to open up. This is how I am preparing for my acts by being little free. I just tell them to guide me and that's how I am doing the acts under their guidance.
How is your sense of humor in real life?
I am improving that only. I never try to do any improvisation on the script because I know that I am not good at it. I do laugh a lot during the rehearsals and the shoot because the way Krushna and Sudesh perform is definitely fun. They roast me also and they make fun of me all the time as how bad comedian I am but its super fun.
How do you tackle all the leg pulling that is happening with you on the show?
This is the whole fun because people have not seen me as Adaa. Through this show, people will know me and leg pulling keep happening with your friends too. Just laugh it off because nobody is doing it personally; it's just for fun. I am taking everything in a fun way.
After comedy, any other reality shows that you wish to be a part of?
I never plan anything. I take everything as an opportunity whatever
comes on my way. I am quite an adventurous person so I would love to be a part
of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
