Yesterday, we reported that Saumya Tandon will be now hosting Zee's Dance India Dance, as Tarana Raja Kapoor, the original host of the show is busy with her brand commitments.

However, Tarana, the host or should we call 'Ex-Host' of Zee's Dance India Dance claims that she has not been informed either by the production house or the Channel about the replacement.

Ask her about the reason for being replaced, and the very talented radio jockey retorts, "Who told you this? I am very much part of the show. I really don't know who is spreading these rumors".

The actress who was earlier seen in Kasautii Zindagi Kii and Kuch Is Tara has been receiving calls from all big publications for the same. "I am amazed at the importance I am getting", quips Tarana.

She went on record to state that, "A journo called me to ask whether the reason for replacement is because I looked old and ugly in front of the co-host Jay Bhanushali. Well, what I can tell these people is that 'I am surely expensive when compared to Jay'.

However, our source confirms the industry buzz and says "Indeed, Tarana was replaced as she was supposedly looking old when compared to Jay".

Lastly, tell her that Saumya Tandon has been taken in as host of the show now, and Tarana is pretty amused. "What!! Are you serious? Well, I certainly need to call them to know what's going on now", concludes Tarana.

Well, we need to wait and watch to know what lies next in Dance India Dance…

i agree , she does look older than Jay Bhanushali and saumya tandon , last tym i saw her was in Meri Awaaz Ko Milgayi Roshni and in Jab We Met but not she in here , im kinda happy and lookin 4ward 2 it .

i dont know wat the fuss is all about. She got replaced and thats it. Whats the point of telling who is more expensive than who. She is just retaliating because some1 told she is older than jay. When i think about it she is older than him and also married.

Arrey yaar, EVERYONE looks old compared to Jay Bhanushali - even child artists!

THis is the most ridiculous reason to be given for Xing someone....She does not look older...she is better looking than him though....
