I am in awe of Sumbul Touqeer Khan's performance: Vishwa Gulati aka Kunal Chauhan of Imlie

Star Plus’ Imlie is one of the most viewed shows on Indian Television. The show is produced by Gul Khan’s Four Lions Films Pvt Ltd and has a star cast that includes actors like Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Gasmeer Mahajani, Mayuri Deshmukh, Ritu Chaudhary among others.

The current track of the show revolves around Imlie rescuing Tripathis from Anu’s fake allegations. The show recently witnessed a new entry named Barrister KC aka Kunal Chauhan played by actor Vishwa Gulati. Vishwa is said to be paired opposite Malini played by Mayuri.

India Forums got in touch with Vishwa and in a brief chat Vishwa mentioned about being a fan of Sumbul. He said, “When I got a call for this character, I watched a few episodes on the internet and found out that Imlie is a very popular show. In my research, I really like Sumbul’s performance as Imlie. She instantly became my favorite and I’m in awe of her acting chops. When I came to know that my first scene will be shot with her, I was very excited and nervous at the same time. The first scene where Imlie misunderstands Barrister KD as being a peon was very well received by the viewers. Sumbul’s energy on the sets is so infectious that I also got motivation to do my scenes better”.
