Vaishnavi Ganatra is content with the opportunities she has been getting as an artist. According to the actor, every show she bags holds a major place in her heart and helps in taking her career ahead. Some of her prominent shows include Hamariwali Good News, Rakshabandhan and Mauka-E-Vardaat.

“All these shows have given me a platform to showcase my talent and emotions. The characters I played not only challenged me in various different ways but also taught me a lot. New experiences bring new lessons. These shows have molded me and the way I act in a beautiful way,” she says.

Presently busy with Woh Toh Hai Albelaa (WTHA), the actor talks about how she got the show in the first place. She also thanks show maker Rajan Shahi for believing in her.

“Seldom do you come across people whose passion can ignite a fire within you to explore your inner abilities. Rajan [Shahi] Sir has that power. He is a pure soul, so rooted. His creativity is inspiring. Working with his DKP (Director’s Kut Production) is every actor's dream. The powerhouse of all the hard work and effort put into exhilarating shows like Anupama and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is none other than Rajan sir, the master at work and the entire team as well. This show has been a blessing; I feel God has opened a door of success and prosperity. I remember the day I was supposed to audition for the role of Priya ((WTHA)). My dad usually helps me with recording auditions. He saw the script and said, ‘Give your best shot at it!’ and gave me much confidence throughout the process. The best part being, he was giving me feedback from the audiences’ point of view which helped me improve my audition. I was nervous about the response but at the same time I was confident because I knew the audition went well. And, within the next few days I was informed that I got selected and that is probably a moment I will remember forever,” adds Vaishnavi, who always had acting dreams.

In fact, if this has not happened, she didn’t know what she would have done with her life. “My future plans include only and only acting. My work is my oxygen. I am head-strong about my acting career. Someone once said that if you have to think about a Plan B that means your Plan A wasn’t strong enough. Having another plan means that you’re giving yourself the chance to never accomplish the Plan A. Acting is my goal, I am passionate about it,” she says.

Vaishnavi also shares how much she desires to play leading roles. “As I mentioned earlier, every show is an opportunity for me to showcase my talent and emotions. No character is more or less important to me because the efforts I put in remain are the same. At the same time, I’m definitely ambitious about playing a lead role because it will give me a wider platform to express myself. I am grateful for all that I have received and am receiving. I wish to always stay blessed like I already am, Touchwood,” she adds.

When not acting, the actor indulges in her hobbies to unwind. “Hobbies are seen as markers of a balanced person who is adept at juggling personal and professional well-being. I am mostly working, but I love occupying myself with my hobbies whenever I’m free. My hobbies include all kinds of art and craft because I have a very creative mind. It allows me to be free and not get caged into any sort of bounds. I also like listening to music, going for walks and spending time with pets. I used to read a lot of books too, but these days, it has become a little difficult because of my work schedule. I plan on starting to read again,” she ends.
