Malang actor Aditya Roy Kapur has got a big project in his hands.

Aditya replaces Hrithik Roshan in the Indian adaptation of the British mini-series The Night Manager.

The series is being directed by Sandeep Modi, who directed the Emmy nominated series Arya along with Ram Madhvani.

The shooting of The Night Manager is expected to begin in the first quarter of the new year.

In 2020, the actor appeared in three films.

Malang was released in theatres, while Sadak 2 and Ludo came on OTT platforms.

Aditya's entry in The Night Manager is considered to be a turning point in his career, as it is his web series debut.

Interestingly, Hrithik was also about to make his OTT debut with this series. However, it was not officially announced.

Manoj Bajpayee was also going to be a part of this series. According to a source close to the series, the series will be shot on a very large scale.

Aditya will play the same character in the series as Tom Hiddleston in the original.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Anil Kapoor may also be a part of the series. Aditya and Anil have worked together in Malang.

As per the reports, Aditya Roy is making his digital debut with this OTT project and stepping in the character of Tom Hiddleston.

He will be seen in the role of a luxury hotel night manager and a former Indian soldier.

On the other side, Anil Kapoor wil be seen in the role of an arms dealer masquerading as a business magnate. His character was played by Huge Laurie in the original 2016 BBC One series.

The Night Manager

Preity Zinta is producing the series. The Night Manager aired on BBC One on 21 February 2016.

In addition to Tom, the series directed by Susan Beer starred Hugh Lowry, Olivia Colman, David Harewood, Tom Hollander and Elizabeth Debicki.

While both, Hrithik and Aditya, are known for their drool-worthy looks, it will be interesting to watch the young star take the place of Tom Hiddleston in the show.

The series is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of next year.
