Hrithik Roshan raises USD 3.68 million with Hollywood stars for Covid-19 relief in India

As the number of Covid-19 cases keep breaking new records in the nation, there has been a shortage of medical amenities to help people in time.

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan stepped forward to contribute and raise money for Covid-19 relief in India. Hrithik joined the list of Hollywood stars raise a massive amount of estimated USD 3.68 million.

Joining the likes of Shawn Mendes, Jada and Will Smith, Jamie Kern Lima and many others, Hrithik Roshan donated USD 15,000 to the fundraiser for the relief drive against Coronavirus in the nation.

Author Jay Shetty shared the same on his Instagram handle and wrote in his post, "My heart is filled with joy knowing that lives will be helped and saved. This is just the beginning! We have a lot of work to do."

Reacting to the total amount raised through the fundraiser, Hrithik commented: "Congratulations Jay and Radhika...amazing"

Meanwhile, several Bollywood actors have come to the forefront to extend a helping hand amid the grim situation in the nation. Actors like Sonu Sood, Taapsee Pannu, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, among others have been amplifying calls and requests for medical help on their social media handles.

Recently, superstar Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna came forward and donated 100 oxygen concentrators. Ayushmann Khurrana and wife Tahira Kashyap also did their bit by contributing money to the Maharashtra CM Relief Fund.
