Hrithik & Deepika starrer 'Fighter' gets a release date

With the pandemic continuing to be a reality and many films still witnessing a digital release, there is an array of big films being planned as well. We still have the supremely delayed Sooryavanshi and 83 waiting in the wings for a theatrical release from March 2020 but there are some mega projects that are looking for a future release.

There is also a minor yet encouraging development to look forward to where Bell Bottom will be one of the first films to witness a release in theaters next week after another brief period of the second wave of COVID-19. Owing to this, many films are planning for their theatrical release dates soon. 

A while ago, it was confirmed that for the first time ever, actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are collaborating for the first time. It was confirmed that Roshan and Padukone will play the leads in a huge project titled Fighter. The film saw a teaser being released which confirmed the announcement and the fact that director Siddharth Anand will be directing it.

While there was a lot of speculation about the film's release date considering it still hasn't begun shooting but it has now officially got a release date. The film is scheduled for a Republic Day release in the year 2023 i.e. 26th January 2023. This film will mark a hattrick of collaborations for Roshan and director Anand.

The duo has presented the mildly successful Bang Bang! earlier and further collaborated for the huge film, War which also co-starred Tiger Shroff. The film will be produced by Ajit Andhare [Viacom18Studios], Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, Anku Pande.
