Hina Khan on completing 12 years, proud of being Akshara and her journey

Hina Khan has now clocked in 12 years in the industry, that is a little more than a decade and one sure cannot have been more proud, fans and the actress alike. She made her way into acting with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Akshara, and to date, she is remembered for her role while also adding many more feathers to her hat.

About completing 12 years, the actress says that this is just the beginning and she wants to step into films, as she got a good response for the few she did. She also added how she is happy with the work she has been doing and is looking forward to do more of it. She also told The Times of India how these years have been fruitful and she has received so much love from the fans and everyone, including the red carpets, winning awards, international recognition, and so much more.

She also spoke about the role of Akshara and added how one never thinks how it will turn out later when taking up a project and she knows that she started from Akshara and she became larger than life, something she is proud of. She also added how it is very difficult to continue doing such shows for a long time and she did it for 8 long years. Further, she mentioned how the show is still going great and she feels nice to know that it holds true even when I am not a part of it.

Talking about her journey, she says how surviving in the industry is important and she is taking baby steps as that is what she believes in. She also mentioned, '' have taken risks, I have forgone huge amounts of money to be where I am today and I am so proud of it. It gives me a lot of confidence that in the future if I want to do something, then I can take that risk but I have to be wise and understand if I need to take that risk. But I am glad with my experience and journey. I am looking forward to another 15 years now.''
