Himanshi Khurana joins farmer's protest; Distributes food

The on-going farmer's protest is indeed one of the talking points and that continues to be the case. It got a lot more attention owing to the spat between Diljit Dosanjh and Kangana Ranaut but the actual issue attached to it still remains as of yet.

An array of celebrities have either voiced their support for the farmers and a select few have actually gone on to join the protests, Dosanjh being one of them.

Now, the latest one to actually join the protesters is actor Himanshi Khurana. The Bigg Boss 13 fame actor has been vocal about her support for them and now she was seen being a part of it where more so she was seen distributing food to them.

As Khurana is a firm believer of supporting Punjabi community, she was yet again seen providing full support to the farmhands.

She attended the revolt on 11th Dec and spending 7-8 hours with fellow members. She was quoted by Times of India saying, "My heart weeps to see the farmers of my country who provide us with food in such a state. Protesting, struggling for their rights. It's sad to see the one's providing for us, today they themselves aren't provided what they deserve. The farmers should get security as if not them what would we eat? Moreover, how would their families survive? So yes I undoubtedly had to be a part of this protest and it felt empowering belonging, standing side by side my people."

Irrespective of whoever side one is on, we hope this issue is resolved soon.
