Here's WHAT Kamya Punjabi has to say about Rahul Raj Singh's allegations!

Controversy surrounding Pratyusha Banerjee's film increases with each passing day.

April 1 marks the first death anniversary of actress Pratyusha Banerjee. The actress who shot to fame with Balika Vadhu, hanged herself in her flat over her troubled relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.

Rahul was arrested on the account of having abetted Pratyusha's suicide. Also, Pratyusha's parents and friends too believed that Rahul's philandering ways and greed for money, pushed Pratyusha over the brink, resulting in the actress committing suicide. There were also allegations of physical abuse on Rahul.

And close friend Kamya Punjabi, in a tribute to the late Pratyusha Banerjee, will be releasing a short film that Pratyusha herself, Kamya and designer Neerusha Nikhat made, just months before Pratyusha ended her life.

Titled 'Hum Kuchh Kah Na Sakey', the film chronicles the troubled relationship that Pratyusha and Rahul had.

Post the release of the trailer, Pratyusha's ex boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh lashed out at Kamya Punjabi and accused her of trying to cash in on Pratyusha's death.

When we contacted Kamya to know about her say on the issue. She averred, "Firstly, I am not answerable to Rahul. Secondly if you watch the video closely, You'll see the difference in how I looked then and now."

She also revealed, "All the proceeds of the film, how much ever we earn from it, will go to Pratyusha's parents. There is no business angle to this film at all. Let people talk, I am not afraid of anyone."

Kamya also told us that Pratyusha's parents will be present for the screening of the film and that they know all about what is there in the film.

The film will release on the April 1.

Meanwhile, Rahul Raj Singh has filed a police complaint against Kamya Punjabi.

Kamya is a true friend who stood by Pratyusha Banerjee in life and death! The guy only seems to be filing cases and milking publicity in her name, so disgusting!

I once heard a woman that Rahul allegedly defrauded say that he likes to bring cases against people if they ever speak against him. He sounds like a real creep. I am sure even if he didn't kill her he was the reason she died in the end. Hope he gets punished one day. Disgusting man. I don't know much about Kamya Punjabi but I feel she is genuine in her love for her late friend. RIP Pratyusha. Truly sad to see a young life lost like this!
