Awez Darbar, a content creator, had high hopes for a successful run in the ongoing 11th season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Unfortunately, his journey on the dance reality show was unexpectedly cut short due to an injury. In a conversation with one of the leading portals, Awez shared the details of his leg injury, expressing his disappointment. Additionally, he underscored the positive experiences he acquired.
In the conversation, Awez revealed that he sensed a crack in his leg during rehearsals and heard a snap-like sound while practising a dance move involving fast leg movements. As he began limping, he noticed his knee shifting inward, and it became apparent that something was abnormal. Following an MRI, it was confirmed that he had a grade three tear, compelling him to decide to withdraw from the show. He has been advised to refrain from dancing for at least two months.
Awez expressed his disappointment, remarking that experiencing such a situation is disheartening and something no one should have to go through. He conveyed his belief that it was not meant to be and suggested that destiny might have alternative plans. Awez recounted a similar experience in the past when he dealt with a fracture while creating dance videos. However, he adapted by shifting his focus to creating content on different subjects, resulting in even more viral videos. This led him to the realization that whatever happens occurs for a reason. Awez embraced the philosophy of 'the show must go on,' asserting his wholehearted belief in it. Despite the setback, he expressed determination to come back stronger.
Reflecting on his short tenure on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Awez highlighted the positive experiences he had gained. He mentioned that in just one episode, he accomplished a lot, being the only wildcard to secure a direct entry among the original celebrity contestants. Another significant moment for him was when Farah Ma'am praised his dance skills and commented that he deserved to be in the show from the beginning, not as a wildcard. Despite encountering challenges, Awez conveyed his satisfaction by expressing that, despite everything, he had many memories to cherish, and he was truly happy with his journey.
