Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's lavish Bollywood party was truly one grand affair. From Amitabh Bachchan's clan to Shah Rukh, Arjun, Kareena and Varun, the entire film fraternity was in attendance. Sources reveal that the party was a mad one is many ways where DeepVeer played the perfect host for the night.
Amongst the guests, three main names were highly anticipated for the party - Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. This is because both Ranbir and Katrina have a huge history with Deepika and now Ranbir is dating Alia so she too has become a part of this list. Though Katrina buried her hatchet and turned up for the party, Ranbir and Alia gave it a miss.
For obvious reasons, many eyebrows were raised as all is well between Deepika and Ranbir and Alia too shared the Koffee couch with Deepika recently which clearly showed their bond. Revealing the reason behind their absence, a source informed PinkVilla, "Their busy schedule kept the duo away from attending all nighter".

So before all of you imagine the worst and theories of your own, here's the real reason why the two didn't turn up for the party.
Speaking of Katrina, her presence too was a dicey one as not Deepika but Ranveer had invited her for the party. The source had revealed, "Katrina received the invitation four days ago and she is gearing up to attend the event. She has discussed this with Salman Khan and if all goes well, she will walk into the party with the superstar and (Bharat) director Ali Abbas Zafar. She is looking forward to the bash".
"While the actress (Deepika) did not send a text to Katrina, Ranveer ensured that he did", added the source.
