Here's a TV show we actually NEED, but we don't DESERVE

According to actor Iqbal Khan

Indian TV may be facing a tumultuous situation of sorts in its own way, where multiple shows continue to not fare well in spite of them trying novel ideas and bold concepts; and the run-of-the-mill shows continue to do wonders as they churn out the cliched scenes time and again.

One such show from the above example is none other than Sony TV's Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do starring Iqbal Khan and Mona Jaswir Singh.

The show did not fetch good numbers and in spite of receiving critical acclaim, it was pulled off-air rather sooner than anticipated.

The show went on to spark the debate once again of how some shows tackle new and bold concepts but don't get the deserved appreciation. In fact, only recently, Iqbal went on to post something that justified this point even better-

Pseudo quoted from the dialogue from The Dark Knight, it represents the Indian TV scene well.

I haven't watched this show but heard a great deal about it. I agree with Iqbal here - Indian TV needs progressive shows but we, the audience do not deserve it. Until n unless the shitfest running on ITV does not see its end, we will never get good content.

This show was the rare Ekta Kapoor show I really liked till the end. I am really surprised audience didn't like this show.

Some one bring back Iqbal and Mona back together in a show. PKHJD is a show very close to my heart.
