Hema Malini pens a sweet note for the love of her life Dharmendra's birthday: My prayers will be with him

Hindi film's He-Man Dharmendra is celebrating his birthday today, and he has had a successful career with a number of hits to his name. On his 87th birthday, greetings from his industry peers and followers have flooded social media. Hema Malini, his wife, and a politician as well as an actress, also sent a special message for him on Twitter. She shared lovely photos with Dharmendra and penned a heartfelt note for him.

Hema Malini, who is very active on social media, can be seen wearing a pink silk sari in the photos, while the birthday boy is sporting an orange shirt. The couple seems super sweet in these adorable pictures.

Sharing the pictures Hema wrote, "Praying for dear Dharam ji’s good health on his birthday today. Wish him a long and healthy life filled always with happiness and joy! My prayers will be with him today and every day of our lives. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the love of my life."

Dharmendra married Hema Malini after relocating to Bombay and starting a career in movies. In the early 1970s, he and Malini co-starred in a number of films, including Sholay. The couple has two daughters, Esha Deol who is an actress, born in 1981 and Ahana Deol (an assistant director, born in 1985.

On the professional front, Dharmendra will next be seen in the film 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', a family drama which is being directed by Karan Johar. Apart from him the film will also feature Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles.
